Roe Valley Country Park runs for three miles either side of the River Roe near Limavady. The river plunges through spectacular gorges and its banks are clothed with mature mixed woodland. It is a beautiful tranquil location. |

The Causeway become widely known as the 'Eighth Wonder of the World' from the 1700s when large numbers of visitor's came to view this amazing array of basalt columns. Legend has it that the causeway was built by an Irish giant named Finn MacCool, after a row with his scottish counterpart, Benandonner.
